Built in 1886 this historic rock house sits on Main Street, within walking distance of most of the shops and restaurants. Jolly’s Haus has two bedrooms and one bath. You are on the second floor facing Main street. The owners have left at least one original Rock wall in each room. This gives it a nice historic touch. Jolly’s Haus is a perfect place for ladies shopping weekend or two couples getting away.

The location of this rental is amazing! The unit is spacious and was very clean. Well stocked kitchen and linens. The beds were so comfortable. The front bedroom is a little noisy due to the traffic, so light sleepers should take the back bedroom. I sleep with a noise machine, so it was not inconvenient for me. Loved the homey feel and quaint decorations. Felt like I was visiting an older relative. The management is very friendly and helpful.

A friend and I enjoyed this cute and comfortable apartment for an annual Girl’s Weekend! I would like to note that we woke up on our first morning of our stay to the Air Conditioner not cooling properly, I called and within 30 minutes a team of friendly, helpful AC guys showed up and had things working again in no time! Great customer service from all aspects. We loved staying here and will definitely keep it in mind for future Fredericksburg visits!

I stayed here with my parents and my mistake was that I missed that this is an upper-level apartment. I went by the photos and thought that there were no stairs involved in staying here. I would not recommend this for someone who struggles with stairs. The location is nice but comes at the price of being loud. You are at a busy intersection and hear the traffic noise all night long. The apartment itself is clean and spacious. The furniture looks like it has been well used (stains) in the living area. The staff at the check-in was very friendly and helpful with suggestions on where to eat.

Jolly Haus is right on the main street. Easy walk to everything (shopping, wine tasting, restaurants etc). It has everything you need.

We had a great experience at Jolly's Haus. Very nicely decorated, well maintained and clean. The actual apartment is on the second floor, so it was a little difficult for us, being a 60 year old couple, to get our suitcases upstairs, but we made it!!! Closer to the end of town, but very close to City Cafe with the best breakfast in town and Hondo's! If you love music, dancing and yummy food, you have to visit Hondo's.

After traveling to Fredericksburg 1st weekend in December for many years now, I have to say this was the best place we have stayed. The home was decorated as if it was your own, comfortable chairs the best beds and a kitchen stocked as well as yours at home. The location was also perfect, no need to drive to your favorite shops, just a short walk. We will definitely be staying here from now on.

This was our 10th year of staying at the Jolly Haus Thanksgiving weekend. It's a great place to stay with all the comforts of home. You cant stay anywhere better!!
My family and I really enjoyed Jolly Haus. It was clean, kitchen fully stocked, and close to all the shops. We enjoyed to decor and unique design of Jolly Haus. I highly recommend it to others.
