Das Mueller Haus is located just minutes away from downtown. This 1940’s vintage cottage is typical of Fredericksburg’s homes built in that period. The overall decor is antique with contemporary pieces sprinkled about for comfort. The guesthouse features all hardwood floors and a big back yard. There are two large bedrooms - one bedroom has a queen-size bed and the other has a full-size bed. In addition, there is a twin bed in a third small room. There is a full bath with tub and shower. The kitchen is spacious and has a stove, oven and large refrigerator. There is also a microwave, and coffee maker furnished for your use. An ideal retreat for a family, a group of friends, or a couple.

Having to go to the prop mgmt to pick up and return keys is very inconvenient.
The furniture is very low to the ground and needs restuffing.
The front door lock is taped!
We had to get someone over to get the tv to work

The Das Mueller Haus was a great place for a girls weekend. It’s close to the main strip yet in a quiet neighborhood. We loved the vintage/antique decor and the hospitality was above what you normally get. Check in and check out was so easy. We look forward to coming back soon.

The house was cute and in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed walks in the evenings when we returned from running around town. It was conveniently located and easy to navigate the area. On the first night, while sitting outside. We were greeted by a cute kitty who lounged while we were sitting on the patio.
It was comfortable and clean inside. They had plenty of space and great wall art to look at throughout the house.
If you are looking for a comfortable place to rest and relax, Das Meuller Hais was perfect.

I suspect this is one of those old 1940's Sears & Roebuck Catalog kit homes. So cool!!! This place was as neat as a pin and comfy. We saw a variety of birds in the backyard (a woodpecker, cardinals & more), a cat and a late night visiting fox. The shower isn't fabulous but everything else was. The home came stocked with fresh milk, orange juice and a bottle of wine. We also found fresh fruit, pastries and a variety of breakfast foods. We spent a lot of time on the back porch playing Uno and dominoes. The seats out back were a bit uncomfortable after awhile. We purchased seat cushions and left them on the seats for the comfort of other guests. The house also had a stack of board games, cards and dominoes. The dominoes were missing the double 6 so we purchased a complete set and left them there for others to enjoy as well.

Everything was good
It’s a cute house in a cute neighbourhood and we enjoyed staying there very much. The garden was a lovely place from which to view the solar eclipse. Any problems were sorted very quickly. We appreciated the goodies and the milk left for us. We had a happy time.
