Binky's Secret Garden

We checked out after 1 night (waiting for partial refund). I am 80 and the bathtub is dangerous for anyone my age (deep and slippery). No storage for clothes. Wires running everywhere. Poor condition. We would have stayed, but after my wife needed help to get out of the tub, I was not willing to risk it and checked out the next morning and into a hotel.

The room was just what my husband and I needed for our little getaway. The location is right off of Main Street so walking to shop was amazing. It had all the amenities listed and our stay was very comfortable. We will definitely stay again!!

A quaint little place that is within walking distance of restaurants, bars, shops, etc.
Highly recommend Fredericksburg Pie shop just down the block.

My wife and I decided to do a quick get away before New Years. We chose Binkys. It was clean, comfortable and had everything you needed to enjoy your stay. My only note is that it doesn’t have a separate shower, it has a extendable shower head connected to the bath tub, this can be interesting for those who are older as my wife and I are. Besides that the ac worked great and the people in charge were easy to reach and accommodating.

The location was great. The shower is very inconvenient and stopped working. I reported it and nothing was done about it. The bed was uncomfortable, but that's just my preference. Other than those grievances, the location was great and so was the rental process. Some remodeling needs to happen for that price point though.

Binky's Secret Garden is a very cozy, eclectic cottage with southwestern, Mexican vibe. The location, a block from Mainstreet was very convenient yet it felt very quiet and secluded. Needs some TLC and updating but over all very comfortable.

Binky's couldn't be in a more convenient location, one block from the middle of Main Street and a short walk to the Visitor's Center, the Pacific Museum, shops, and restaurants. (Try the brunch at Hill & Vine - it's amazing!) Very clean with cute, eclectic decor. Shaded patio, with adorable kittens cavorting in the lush courtyard. (Some evidence of water damage and a window unit air conditioner that didn't quite keep up with summer heat, but didn't interfere with our stay. Entrance would not be suitable for someone with any mobility issues, as it is narrow with turns, and the steps are uneven.) Would choose this room again.

Adorable place in the heart of Fredericksburg town, we had a great stay! We especially loved the private porch in the back garden area. Checkin was so easy - we arrived after 5pm and the keys were right there in the coded box.

I did submit a review with pictures right after our stay but received this request again, I suppose my first review wasn’t acceptable‍♀️The property is very shabby & rundown. The only thing good is the location being 1 block off of Main St. The pictures representing the property must be many years old. The porch would be nice if it had been cleaned and there was a garden to enjoy. More than half of the lights were burned out and the whole porch was dirty with dead bugs & spider webs. Very disappointing property! My husband said “never again”

Really cute little place that's a block away from the main strip. Easy walk to most things. Two person jacuzzi is perfect to unwind at the end of the day. Comfortable bed.
