These 1800’s era cabins provide a quiet respite for the weekend shopper or visitor to Fredericksburg. Though it is in a beautiful country setting, it is less than five minutes from downtown. The Dogtrot style cabin offers two suites separated by a breezeway. Each unit has a private living area with a fireplace and coffee bar. Upstairs are comfy king size beds and a full bathroom.
It is a nice getaway, yet it is still convenient to all of Fredericksburg. White-tailed deer and other wildlife abound in this area and there are lots of Hummingbird feeders so you can even do some birdwatching. There is a nice porch swing out front to enjoy some morning coffee and watch the sun rise! Come out and enjoy the beautiful hill country at AB Butler’s Dogtrot.

There are few places which exude such charm and peace as you find at Ab Butler's Dogtrot cabin. We enjoyed sitting outside with the butterflies, birds, and occasional moo from nearby cattle and soft breezes! You can't go wrong with this little piece of heaven!!
